It’s all the little things

They finally came! My personalized plates. Some say they might be nerdy, others would say pretentious, and I say “Oh well!” This is just one of the little things I did to make sure I don’t lose sight of the bigger picture. It won’t get me more business. It won’t even be noticed by most. But every morning I walk out to get in my car, it’s a reminder that if it was important enough to bother putting on license plates then I should be fully committing myself to it everyday. I find that when you declare things to the world it makes them a little more real and makes me try even harder to live up to the declarations I make. Words mean something.

So, it might just be personalized plates to most, but to me it’s a lot more than that.
